QA Assistant - Tea Blending & Sensory Evaluation

com/ We are currently looking for someone to join our team as an Assistant in our Quality Assurance department.
This is a full time entry level position with future opportunities for growth.
The position will focus heavily on sensory evaluation (tasting) and sample preparation.
Job
Responsibilities:
- Daily Sample preparation and blending - Prepare daily cuppings and tastings - Assisting with blend recipes and development - Manage sample and cupping room inventory - Assist with general QC related tasks in the warehouse Required
Qualifications:
- Tea experience/background strongly preferred - Focused and detailed oriented - Excel and basic computer skills - Multitasking - Ability to work alone and as part of a team - Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work comfortably with percentages and mass based recipes - Desire to learn about and build a palate for tea - Spanish speaking a plus Starting Pay:
$9-10/hr
Health Benefits (after 90 day probation).
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
