Responsibilities:
Improve vendor performance by generating and analyzing Vendor Scorecards.
Drive vendor improvements in supply chain, fill rate, packaging, floor ready, accuracy and compliance through collaborative partnerships.
Monitor issues and produce follow-up points with logistics and merchant management.
Coordinate and lead vendor partnership meetings for logistics to review logistical goals of Sport Chalet with key vendor partners.
Receive and solve day to day operational issues related to compliance and floor ready for the Merchant and Distribution Management teams and vendors.
Participate in and/or lead logistics change initiatives within the company.
Support of logistics re-engineering projects in various stages of deployment.
Act with strong sense of urgency to anticipate customer's needs Skills / Requirements Minimum of 2 years of logistics/supply chain experience Supply chain knowledge and global business process orientation is preferred Strong negotiation and organizational skills; detail oriented; flexible problem solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work with all levels of an organization.
Able to work independently, self-starter Ability to follow through in timely manner.
Demonstrates initiative on driving the business High self-awareness, drive for personal development, and desire to grow and learn.
Computer skills proficiency MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Ability to handle multiple projects and the ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.
