Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Pediatric Dentist to join our dental practice.
As a Dentist, you will provide comprehensive dental care to pediatric patients.
Your primary responsibility will be diagnosing and treating oral health issues, as well as educating patients on proper oral hygiene practices.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dentistry and possess excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine dental examinations, including x-rays and evaluations of oral health - Diagnose and treat various dental conditions, such as cavities, gum disease, and tooth decay - Administer anesthetics to patients to minimize pain during procedures - Perform all dental procedures to pediatric patients.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and provide preventive care instructions - Collaborate with dental assistants and hygienists to ensure efficient patient care - Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using electronic documentation.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and sterile work environment - Stay updated on the latest advancements in dentistry through continuing education Requirements:
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school & Pediatric Dentistry Postgraduate Degree - Has been credentialed with Denti-Cal.
- Valid state dental license in good standing - Proven experience working as a Dentist - Proficient in medical terminology, medical imaging, and medical documentation - Strong knowledge of anatomy, particularly related to the oral cavity - Familiarity with dental office procedures and workflows - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work well within a team environment - Knowledge of infection control protocols and techniques We offer competitive compensation packages including retention bonus for our Dentists.
