Oracle ERP Team Lead - R12, ERP, EDI Oracle ERP Team Lead Job Description SUMMARY The Oracle Developer, Team Lead will lead projects and be part of the highly skilled technical development team (both on and off site) for Oracle-ERP related functions, reports, forms, flows and EDI interfaces.
Will work on the technical development in extending Oracle Applications 11i & R12.
Will be equally involved in both B2B related projects which will include Oracle Applications Integration development, and the development of Oracle Applications extensions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES Support all end users of the Oracle-ERP System and related compliance systems with processes, operation, trouble shooting and maintenance.
Develop Oracle-ERP related programs, reports, tools, applications, etc.
with Oracle system tools or 3rd party tools.
Plan, develop and implement new Oracle-ERP related projects for improved, future system operation and enhancement.
Develop EDI integrations with Oracle-ERP using Gentran Integration Suite.
Ability to work independently or in a team environment to support all activities of the Oracle-ERP system.
Support external non-Oracle-ERP applications development Build customized reports and forms to the needs of the business and maintain.
Support Functional Analysts with day-to-day operational issues.
Lead technical team in any major upgrades to the base business applications.
Build extensions to Oracle Application to interface with e-commerce products.
Develop and document all the extensions to the Oracle Applications Extending Oracle Application features to the Web for our on-going Business To Business e-commerce initiative.
Develop and Maintain interfaces with Front Office systems (like Clarify) and Customer Relationship Management systems (Oracle CRM On Demand or SalesForce CRM On Demand.
Required Experience REQUIRED EXPERIENCE BS Degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field Minimum 5 years experience with the Oracle-ERP R11i System; R12 experience is a plus In-depth experience in Oracle Financials, Distribution, or other relevant modules of Oracle applications EDI and e-commerce project experience; Gentran Integration Suite experience a plus Familiar with Oracle application development tools, such as Forms, Report, Alerts, Oracle workflow builder, Discoverer, XML publisher Familiar with Oracle database 8i/9i/10g, PL/SQL, Sql Plus Working knowledge of Unix Shell, Java development platform Good analytical and problem solving skills Must be able to work effectively without direct supervision, independently or in a team environment Good interpersonal skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Global implementation experiences is a plus Ability to speak Mandarin is a plus PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Environment:
