Job Title:
Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician Emanate Health Medical Group with Emanate Health System is seeking a full time OB/GYN who shares the same values and commitment to our patients as the rest of our medical staff.
Emanate Health is abusy practice in state-of-the-art offices with full support staff serving the San Gabriel Valley located in Southern California.
The Obstetrician/Gynecologist (OB/GYN) is responsible for providing medical care to women relating to pregnancy or childbirth; responsible for treating, testing, diagnosing and monitoring diseases and provide general care to women.
Job Duties:
Provide care and treatment to women during prenatal, natal, and postnatal periods.
Diagnose, treat, and monitor diseases, disorders, and conditions.
Prescribe appropriate medications to treat patients in accordance with standardized procedures and company policy.
Perform pap smears, pelvic and breast exams.
Conduct mood and emotional well-being assessments during post-partum appointment.
Collaborate and consult with other medical and non-medical personnel.
Effectively monitor patients' progress throughout treatment plan and care and provide continuous improvement on patient outcomes.
Educate patients on importance of treatment plans and communicate side effects and risk of medications prescribed.
Educate patients on disease prevention and reproductive health.
Demonstrate effective and detailed written documentation skills.
Conduct routine check-up appointments and maintain follow up throughout patients' care.
Demonstrate excellent customer service and communication with patients.
Able to multitask and manage assigned projects and tasks as directed.
All other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements:
? Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Degree required.
? Licensed in the state of California as an OB/GYN.
? DEA Certification required.
? Prior experience as an OB/GYN preferred.
? Ability to demonstrate excellent independent judgment, problem-solving, analytical and collaborative skills in order to organize and prioritize multiple tasks, providing patient centered leadership and direction.
? Must have the emotional intelligence that may include, but not limited to, patience, sensitivity and the compassion to work with patients that may be stressed, anxious, and difficult.
? Ability to work as a team.
? Bilingual in English/Spanish is preferred.
