DUTIES
Summary:
- Perform full-cycle bookkeeping duties, including but not limited to biweekly payroll processing, payroll tax payments, account analysis, financial report writing, payroll tax return preparation, sales tax return preparation, accounts payable, accounts receivable, manage bank accounts, process bank and credit card reconciliations, and GL account reconciliations.
All year end processing and reporting with W2's and payroll tax returns.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
- Generate and analyze financial reports, including general ledger, balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Provide all reports to our CPA to prepare financial statements and assist CPA with any questions.
- Collaborate with management to develop and implement financial strategies and goals.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Provide support during audits and tax filings.
- Manage 401(k) plan and make biweekly contributions.
Add new hires and file year end reports.
- Assist with insurance package renewals and manage COI compliance.
- Assist with all aspects of accounts payable and receivables.
- Assist with all aspects of human resources.
- Assist with administrative duties for owners.
Booking travel and ordering accessories for annual conferences.
- Assist with daily office operations as needed.
Experience:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or similar role.
Must be responsible and reliable.
- Proficient in using Quickbooks desktop accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles and practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience with 10-key typing and type 40
wpm.
