This role is responsible for the planning and execution of City of Hope sponsorship benefit execution, throughout corporate event campaigns and priority event activity, such as Spirit of Life Signature events, receptions, donor recognition events, golf tournaments, and similar Event Experience activity. They possess a high level of organization, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence. The Event Producer will work under the supervision of the Sponsorships, Conferences, and Tradeshows Manager to produce and deliver high quality innovative events that will promote and elevate the City of Hope brand.
The Event producer will focus on developing, managing, advising, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to build anticipation for and implement an optimal event experience for participants. Under general supervision of the assigned Senior Director or Director of the Philanthropy Event Experience team, assist in developing, planning and implementing new and existing events, independently or as part of a particular campaign. Responsible for planning, management and coordination of designated programs or events. Assist in stewarding key donors and prospects for the direct purpose of supporting the fundraising strategies. They will be responsible for controlling expenditure and costs. Finally, they will analyze and develop key performance indicators that align with objectives set by leadership.
They will travel frequently to execute events and to ensure success and gain a deeper understanding of the Office of Philanthropy activity.
As a successful candidate, you will:
Design, build and execute an exceptional experience with a focus on audience engagement and differentiating City of Hope globally to extend City of Hope's reach through philanthropy events.
Lead and coordinate with stakeholders on the requirements related to the design of marketing collateral and conduct implementation of experiential activations and branding throughout conference and tradeshow venues.
Responsible for sourcing and applying technologies to create interactive elements that maximize audience engagement.
Accountable for project initiation, executing, and closure planning.
Manage issues, risks and actions at events.
Guide and direct activities across multiple professional disciplines and departments and work effectively with various levels of management
Manage vendors, contractors, exhibitors, venues, and consultants
Develop volunteer and staff briefings to ensure all event participants are appropriately informed and prepared to participate in the events.
Manage and reconcile budgets for sponsorships, conferences, and tradeshows.
Define success by developing key performance indicators that align with strategic goals and objectives.
Your qualifications should include:
Bachelor's Degree.
3-5 years of event planning experience.
Preferably: Marketing, Communications or hospitality degree preferred. Sponsorships, Conferences, Tradeshows, Event, Meeting and Hospitality, Protocol, Diplomacy and Etiquette, Stakeholder and Audience Engagement, Live and Virtual Events.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
