Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree with concentration in Accounting and/or Finance.
5
years of accounting experience.
Intermediate to advanced knowledge in Excel and Access.
Experience with SAP strongly preferred.
Professional Skills Requirements:
The Area Financial Analyst should have a background in budget preparation and management, reporting, accounting and potentially pricing.
Experience in the beverage, packaged goods and/or manufacturing industries is preferred.
Prior experience in a field office environment is also helpful.
Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work under tight timelines with multiple tasks.
Team player with ability to serve as the Finance Group's liaison to non- finance individuals.
Responsibilities:
This position is primarily responsible for reviewing and ensuring the accuracy, integrity and the timeliness of the accounts payable process.
Specific responsibilities to include review and ensure accuracy and completeness of vendor changes; review and report timeliness of payments and open items; coordinate and assist in the month-end accrual process and balance sheet reconciliations.
The position will also advise and assist other employee's and vendors on the proper procedures and processes to be used for goods procurement and invoice payment.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
