Physical Therapy Assistant - VNA California (Riverside, CA)
Company Description Job Description Physical Therapy Assistant to work under the direction of the Registered PT and under the direction of the Director of Home Health to perform physical therapy procedures as assigned.
Cooperate with and participate in supervisory activities with the RPT, including joint visits, case conferences and patient reports, as required by Agency policy and state regulations.
Document in the patient record the skilled intervention and all communications and actions pertinent to each patient.
Submit all documentation within the stated time frame.
Observe the response of the patient to physical therapy treatment and report these observations to the PT, case manager, physician and/or Director of Home Health.
Participate in patient care conference and communicate with team members regarding patient progress and response to treatment.
Qualifications:
Completion of a program for PTA's accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association and approved by the CA PT Examining Committee.
Licensed by the Board of Medical Examiners of California to assist in the provision of physical therapy under the supervision of a RPT.
Minimum of two years satisfactory experience.
